Perhaps you have a hearing loss that is calling for correction.
Nik Kolev and Petya Koleva, hearing aid specialists, are there to help people correct their hearing as soon as a loss presents itself.  They caution people against waiting until the transition to fullness of sound becomes difficult.

Let’s suppose you have a ‘mild’ hearing impairment, which only involves a few frequencies; perhaps the very high frequencies, so that in conversations, you are only missing the consonant sounds, ‘c’ and ‘t’.  You feel that you are “managing just fine”.

What “managing just fine”: actually means is that thousands and thousands of times in a day, you are missing (ie. your brain is missing) the stimulation of those two or three sounds.  You strain every time someone speaks, especially when there is extraneous noise, in order to be able to fill in the context so that you can respond appropriately.

Do you think this kind of stress ages you prematurely?
You can bet it does, aging both your brain and your body unnecessarily.  Your hearing loss also causes your friends and family stress along with you, in having to make special adjustments in order to communicate with you.

After many years of non-stimulation of sound, people often decide to use a hearing device.  By then, the brain may have real difficulty adjusting to “new” sounds, and so we introduce another stressful period into our lives …. trying to adjust to and make sense of sounds we haven’t heard in a long, long time.  (Remember Grandpa, who couldn’t adjust to his hearing aid, who wouldn’t wear it, who nobody could be bothered with anymore; it was just so much work, trying to talk to him?  Imagine how he truly felt on the inside … lonely, isolated, angry, despairing, confused.)

High tech, invisible, sophisticated sound enhancement
Of course hearing devices today are sophisticated, invisible gadgets that do everything the computer tells them to do; that is, replace only the sounds missing in that particular ear while letting all the other sounds through naturally.  Petya and Nik both emphasize that the hearing devices they fit people with regularly are beyond anything Grandpa could have imagined in making it possible for people to hear effortlessly and naturally.

Anti-aging devices
With this replacement of missing sound, the ears (and their owner) are young again!  Music has a complete fullness, conversations are easy to understand, the television and the radio are a pleasure to hear, it’s possible to attend meetings, family gatherings, concerts, and more. In short, it is possible to enjoy a full life, physically and mentally.  Solving a hearing problem as soon as possible, not later in life, means staying younger in every way, as you age.  Unlike Grandpa, you can be included in parties, functions, gatherings, dining out, and be fully involved into old, old age.

Just what kind of person do you want to be, as you age?
