Local yoga teachers Kreg Weiss and Michelle Trantina are flexing and stretching their entrepreneurial skills with the creation of MyYogaOnline.com.  Joining forces with a filmmaker and web developer they have launched a fresh, innovative, and ultra-modern way to practice Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation.

My Yoga Online.com streams full screen DVD quality videos over the internet for practice at home, while traveling, and at work.   Custom designed short yoga and pranayama (breath) flows can be done sitting in a chair and are designed to release stress and increase mental focus and clarity.  The site is perfect for the beginner or to compliment an existing yoga or Pilates practice.

“We look to bring in the best teachers and to regularly add new classes to the site to keep things fresh and motivating. Our classes are affordable, convenient, and stress safety,” says Weiss.  “With growth of the internet and availability of broadband, the site allows for access to a large bank of classes that are always available at your fingertips.  Modern technology has also created the ability to connect computers to televisions so practices can be viewed on TV.”

All levels of classes are offered, beginner to advanced, and specialty classes to revitalize in the morning (The Sun Salutation Vitality Flow), or to ensure good sleep at night (Insomnia Hatha Flow), or to de-stress (Relaxation Meditation).  There are video workshops in everything from Ayerveda to Feng Shui.  MYO also offers an ever-growing bank of nutritional information, recipes, and informative articles on related topics.

Membership with unlimited access costs $9.95 per month.  My Yoga Online's sister site www.MyYogaMusic.com offers relaxing and inspiring music from artists around the world for 99 cents per song.

“We encourage people to create a home yoga sanctuary - an ideal, customized space to make the experience truly enjoyable and ensure regular and consistent practice,” says Trantina.  “People may be unable to afford or uncomfortable attending a studio class. With MYO they don't need to follow someone else's schedule.”

“I was amazed at the variety of classes and how crystal clear the picture was at full screen,” says MYO member Maureen Cheng.  “I love the convenience of it, the fact that I can have classes whenever I want with different teachers to choose from. I never have to spend that extra half an hour getting to a studio, fighting traffic, or finding parking. And the price is incredible.  I recently purchased a one year membership for $89 as a Christmas gift and sent it to my daughter at university.”

MYO invites participants to strengthen both body and mind. The proven transformative benefits of regular yoga practice -  mental clarity, dramatic stress-reduction, proper alignment,  greater self-awareness, weight loss, plus balance, strength, and flexibility of body and mind have lead to yoga's soaring popularity around the world.  People today tend to be less active physically and overactive and stressed mentally. Yoga acts as the perfect counterbalance.

Kreg and Michelle are always open to any questions, comments, and feedback.  For an extended free trial membership log onto the site at www.MyYogaOnline.com and enter the code NS212467
